Editorial Reviews

“Affordable and reader friendly…In today’s multicultural world, it is important to keep in mind the context (setting) when communicating with people from different cultures. This text considers various communication contexts and emphasizes the proper skills needed to effectively communicate.” (Deandre Poole)

It is an up-to-date presentation of the topic with very helpful student assessments as to where they fit in dealing with each issue. Objectives are clear for every chapter, thus enabling the students to identify what they should be able to know and do after completing each. One of the most helpful resources for faculty who travel and/or teach abroad in preparing them to communicate cross-culturally. (Robert Wright 2011-11-02)
